RUBY WINES HITS THE ROAD 2022

We are back baby! The beginning of 2022 saw many of us move beyond the screen for the much favored in-person visits to wineries all around the world. Tasting the recent vintages, experiencing the beauty, uniqueness and complexity of the vineyards and gaining an understanding of the land and vinification practices is truly irreplaceable. We hope to exquisitely convey the passion and experience of each of these trips to our customers.

This year the Ruby team headed west with two trips to California to visit Hamel and Saracina in Sonoma, and a three-day tour through Napa to spend time with the owners, winemakers, farmers and workers at Groth, Peju, Odette, Pine Ridge and Adaptation. We crossed the ocean to Ireland, for a distillery tour of Drumshanbo and the Shed Distillery. Some of us headed to Burgundy, seeing the vineyards of Chassagne Montrachet and Pouilly Fume, and visited the winery of Veuve de Vernay. While others enjoyed the beauty of Alsace with the Trimbach family. We will be beaming about these trips for months and years to come, sharing our excitement with all our customers. We are of the belief that a picture and a taste is worth a thousand words. With that here is a glimpse of the beautiful photos from our recent travels.
